Product Review Allen Co Cascade Rod and Gear Bag

I have been in the market for a new rod and gear bag. I stumbled across this one by accident. I already own there wader bag and very happy with it. There bags are very well built and very affordable. The Cascade rod and gera bags retails for around $100.00. Zippers are heavy duty and smooth. This bag will hold a lot of gear. One of the neat features is that it will hold 10' rods in the rod section. The section that holds the rods is very protective of the rods. Lots of pockets for what ever you want to carry. So if you looking for quality gear bags for an affordable price check them out. I do know that Sportsman Warehouse carries a few of the bags.

Product Review - Deercreek Flies Diamond Hard Low Tack resin and Torch

I received are care package a couple days ago from Nik Wright of Deercreek flies, he sent me some of his new UV low tack resin and a torch to cure it. The name of the resin is Diamond Hard Low Tack. Been playing around with for a couple of days now and I really like it. I have been using Loon's clear fly finish before. The Diamond Hard is a lot clear than the Loon, the Diamond hard is crystal clear. It does seem to be harder than the Loon Clear Fly Finish. The Diamond Hard is defiantly a low tack resin, once you hit it with a light no need for anything to cover it. The Diamond Hard Resin seems to be a little thinner than the Loon's Clear fly finish. As for the torch for Deercreeks resin it is a lot more powerful than Loon's new power lamp. The batteries for Deercreeks torch are a little hard to find at a fair price. I went to Walgreens to buy the batteries and they were $11 each, I then went to Batteries Plus and found them for $11 for two. Over all I would highly recommend this product to all.

Product Review - Deer Creek Flies Oil Slick Scissors

After I posted about my new scissors from Temico, Nick with Deer Creek Flies got in contact me. First he thought I was out of my mind about what I spent on those scissors and he wanted to send me a pair of his oil slick scissors.  I have been tying with his oil slick scissors for the last 2 weeks and I'm very pleased with the performance of these scissors. When I first received them I was a little concerned with the size, they are a 5" scissors. After tying with them for a while you hardly notice the size. These scissors are very sharp and well balanced. The one thing that I really like is the size of the finger hole, plenty room for my big hands. These have become my primary scissors for working with foam and deer hair. The color is also very cool!! You can check them out out Deer Creek Flies web site.

Tiemico Razor Scissors Product Review

I have been eyeing these scissors for a while now. Finally saved enough pennies to purchase these scissors. I'm a scissors junkie, I have tried a lot of different scissors, the minute I put these in my hand they felt heads and tails better than any scissor I have ever used. They are beautifully machined and deadly sharp plus well balanced. The only thing I did not care for was the finger holes for me are a little small, for the average person this will not be a issue. I highly recommend these scissors to any one who wants to drop $50 bucks.
